- October 1964
- Yoshiki Pharmaceutical Company began operations as the Yoshiki Factory of Tanabe Seiyaku and established itself as a factory that "packaged small-quantity" products of overseas manufacturing partners.

- When the underdeveloped region industrialization act came into force and designated Furukawa-cho in November 1963, Genzo Ogura, President of Alps Pharmaceutical Ind. Co., Ltd., the largest company in the town, acted as intermediator to invite Tanabe Seiyaku, which wanted to expand the small-quantity packaging facilities at the finishing process of production as the demands for products rapidly increased. Tanabe Seiyaku signed a basic agreement in June 1964 and began operations at the first factory under the act as Yoshiki Pharmaceutical Company in October the same year.

- Changed its name to Tanabe Seiyaku Yoshiki Factory Co., Ltd. and became an independent subsidiary

- Specialized in subdivided packaging of multi-type small-quantity products

- Began contract packaging (first exhibit in Interphex Japan)
